Why the inbox shows sample conversations

Until your team’s number is connected, the inbox shows sample customers, so you can see how a thread works before your own calls arrive.

The first time you sign in, the inbox is full of conversations with sample customers. The list says so at the top: “Sample conversations. Yours show up here once a number is connected.”

The samples show how Soja keeps each customer in one thread: their calls, texts and callback requests, and your team’s notes beside them, in the order they happened.

What you can do in the sample

You can open any thread, write a text or a note, and join or end the sample’s live call. None of it goes anywhere. No text is sent, no one is called, and nothing you write is saved.

What waits for a number

Calls wait for your team’s number. Until it’s connected, the Call button is turned off, and pointing at it shows “Calling starts once a number is connected.” Once the number is connected, your own conversations take the samples’ place.
